| Ralph was born in Michigan and attended local schools up in the great white north. After high school he eventually made his way down to the Florida Keys and started playing harmonica with local bar bands around Key Largo. It was at Bertie’s bar, “Rumrunners” at Holiday Isle in Islamorada, that he began sitting in with Bertie when he was in town and the rest is history. When Bertie formed “The Band of Pirates” is was a given that one of his favorite pirates, Paradise Ralphie, should be given a position as one of the Crewe. Ralph is the wild man of the group and has been known to climb on a pair of stilts and terrorize the audience at the beginning of the show as well as run through the audience during the show playing his harmonica. Ralph now resides in Orlando, FL. |
