| Amy
was born in St. Petersburg, FL and attended local
schools. She has been a member of "The Band of
Pirates" for four years. She is the daughter of Mark
Halisky and inherited her father's love and talent for
performing music on stage. Amy began training in various
styles of dance at the age of eight. At eighteen, she got
her professional start dancing with Carnival and Empress
cruise lines, and soon after was cast as a chorus member
in the touring off Broadway production of "The Best
of Burlesque". From 1996 to 1999, she starred in
Christmas productions, "Songs of the Season"
and "Holiday Celebration" as a dancer for Busch
Gardens in Tampa, FL. During the regular season, she
performed as a featured dancer and vocalist in the theme
parks' production of "International
Celebration". After completing her contract with
Busch, she joined the Pirates as backup vocalist. Amy
resides in St. Petersburg, FL when she isn't out on the
road with the band. |
